As with any traditional Kitooro homestead, you will find yourself surrounded by matooke and coffee gardens, together with a number of fruit trees, and at the extremities of the property, a small apiary. The lawn at the front of the building is a great spot to enjoy weekend barbecues or sundowners or evening cups of tea.

Since we opened our doors in 2003 we have received a wide range of guests, including business travelers; research teams or small organizations looking for quiet research and or team building/ retreat environment, tourists groups from Italy Germany, and the United States, Ugandan family groups touring over the Christmas and Easter breaks.
